Valli Little

Valli Little, Chef

Born into a family of restaurateurs in the U.K Valli was destined to work in the food industry. After a formal training at the Cordon Bleu school in London she embarked on a career as a food consultant and caterer.

On arriving in Australia she worked as a banqueting manager and consultant before returning to England for a year to work with her husband as a cook and butler cooking for the rich and famous in their country homes. The opportunity to open her own Gourmet food store on Sydney's north shore prompted her return to Australia.

For the past five years she has worked as a home economist
and food writer working on many successful titles including Sydney Food with Bill Granger and the Food of Italy and
Food of France series.

As Food Editor of the highly successful ABC DELICIOUS Magazine, Valli is able to indulge her love of recipe and feature writing often producing in excess of 60 recipes each month inspired continually by her travels and love of food.
